Mario Kart DS is the fifth instalment of the series bringing new dynamics and a revival and rework of the old tracks from the previous games.  

Introducing Mario Kart online connectivity

It was the First Mario Kart Game that was able to use wifi connectivity to connect players around the world. At its launch in 2005 this was new technology and created a fantastic community of players around the world. The online connectivity sadly ended in 2014 after the console moved forward to the 3ds and subsequently New Mario Kart games were released.

The Nintendo DS console is still very much alive today and still being used by many players around the world and we are sure that it will be a firm favourite for years to come.
